Mechanical engineering seniors will report on their design projects and honors theses 9 a.m. in room 102 of Kunkel Hall today.
Group projects include an off-road Mini-Baja vehicle, Battlebot, human-powered submarine, model airplane, and beach chair. The submarine and chair projects are new to the department; past groups of seniors have competed against peers from other institutions in the other projects.
Each group will have 20 minutes to present its work, and five minutes for questions and answers.
In addition, Christina Stenman (Windsor, Conn.) and Benjamin Partlow (Ludlow, Ver.) will present their honors theses.
