An official meeting of the 2002 Student Government was held in the Farinon Center, Room 12 at 7:06 p.m. There were 14 members present.

I. President’s Report – Morgan Albus
A. MOTION TO APPROVE THE MINUTES from November 14th.

C. Transition will be held on Saturday, December 7th at 9:30 a.m.
D. Dean Worthen would like Student Government to help co-sponsor a sexual assault and
misconduct speaker. More information will be provided soon.

I. The AIDS symposium will take place during the week of March 10th.

II. Vice President – Amy Giacobone
A. Followed up on the library issue with Neil McElroy in regard to library hours. Mr. McElroy has directed me to Provost Schlueter.
B. Trying to compile a list of reps going abroad.

III. Secretary’s Report – Alex Karapetian
A. The office hour’s sheet has been made, please attend all times that you sign up for.

IV. Treasurer’s Report – Liz Harris
A. We have worked with Pam Brewer to obtain funds for the hockey team’s transportation
dilemma.

V. Campus Student Services – Brad Ship
A. Met with Fred Quivey to discuss lighting issues. He said that the five-year plan has been
accelerated and that Sullivan Lot, the area between Ramer Hall and Hugel and the
walkway by Oechsle to Kirby Gymnasium.

VI. Student Life- Meredith Walburg
A. The FCC dance is tomorrow. I will e-mail all of you who have signed up to help chaperone.
B. Pep rally
1) Flyers are going to all boxes
2) Lists for everyone to hang up posters in your assigned areas.
3) Check back in the office later in the week for more flyers.
4) Invites.
5) Panhel will help co-sponsor food.
6) Please attend all of the events this week.

VII. Student Life – Kate Dickie
A. Food at the pep rally that is also co-sponsored by Panhel.

2) pretzels
3) sodas

VIII. Community Affairs – Lee Goldfarb
A. The blood drive is on November 18.

IX. Elections – Liz Koskinen
A. President and Vice-President elections will be held November 19th and 20th.

X. Multicultural Affairs – Jenna Menard
A. Recruitment meeting (Prologue 2003)
1) discussed the theme
2) committees
3) we want more involvement with student organizations

XII. Greek Liaison – Jon Cohn
A. Panhel Meeting
1). Lafayette/Lehigh game
2). On Tuesday during lunch in Farinon, will sponsor throwing footballs through
holes for prizes.
3). Co-sponsor food with Student Government.
4). Elections are next week. There have been 11 applications sent for 9
positions.
5). Kappa Kappa Gamma raised $3,232 for Basket Bingo.
B. IFC Meeting
1). Safe rides are going well.
2). Elections took place last week:
President: Matt Maiorino
Vice-President: Jon Cohn
Public Relations: Brad Laske
