In October, Leonard Fruci ’79 was named president of Crane Valves North America, Signal Hill, Calif.

A biology graduate, Fruci received an M.B.A. from Georgia State University, Atlanta. He has 23 years of experience in the valve industry, and most recently served as vice president of sales and product development with Flowserve Corporation’s flow control division. He was vice president of sales and marketing for Duriron Co., Inc., Cookeville, Tenn.

Crane Valves North America, a part of Crane Co., manufactures and sells a variety of valve products and related services. Crane, headquartered in Stamford, Conn., is a diversified manufacturer of engineered industrial products. Founded in 1855, the company employs over 9,000 people in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
