As the new senior vice president and sales manager of PNC Corporate Bank, Paulette Pera Laurenzi ’89 leads a team of relationship managers in building and maintaining commercial banking and capital markets relationships with corporate clients throughout northern and central New Jersey.

Laurenzi brings more than 13 years of commercial banking experience to PNC. She was previously with First Union, where she built a specialty group that serves the commercial banking needs of technology and biotech companies. In recognition of her leadership in that position, Laurenzi was recently honored with a “Women Advancing Technology Award,” presented by the Women’s Fund of New Jersey, the only banker among the honorees. She has also held vice president positions at the former Summit and Chemical banks.

“PNC Bank is really targeted and committed to New Jersey and this new position is a wonderful, exciting opportunity,” says Laurenzi, an economics and business and French graduate who received an M.B.A. from the Leonard Stern School of Business, New York University. Laurenzi also noted that Pete Classen ’74 is regional president of PNC Bank New Jersey as well as CEO of corporate banking for the five-state region.
