Emily Kiernan, a member of Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild, will tell stories 12:10-1:10 p.m. today in the Marlo Room of Farinon College Center.

The event is free and open to the public.

A storyteller since age 10, Kiernan has told stories at festivals such as Mayfair and Musikfest, events like Tellabration and Fright Night, and venues as diverse as Scout meetings, schools, libraries, and Touchstone Theatre. She tells stories for young children through adults, from humorous to tragic and specializes in Grimm’s, Celtic, and original stories. She is a 2002 National Youth Storytelling Olympics finalist and was named “Torchbearer” (1st place) for her age division.
