An expert in investment banking, Robert T. Hinaman ’67 was recently named managing director for Quarterdeck Investment Partners, LLC’s Washington, D.C. office. The firm focuses exclusively on global aerospace, defense, and federal information technology markets.

“Bob’s addition continues the Quarterdeck tradition of providing clients with senior level industry-focused investment banking expertise. His broad base of product and geographical experience is highly complementary to our expanding global coverage,” said founder and CEO Jon B. Kutler.

Prior to Quarterdeck, Hinaman worked in Europe for over 20 years for Chase Manhattan and Chemical Bank, and was managing director for global mergers and acquisitions for Chase based in London and Frankfurt. He advised European aerospace and defense companies as well as developed Chase’s mergers and acquisitions business in Germany. Hinaman served on the boards of several companies and was non-executive chairman of Huntsworth, PLC, a London Stock Exchange listed company.

A mathematics-economics graduate, Hinaman also holds a degree from London Business School.
