Ten alumni will share their experiences and advice with students during an Alumni Investment Banking Roundtable 7 p.m. March 12 at the William E. Simon Center for Economics and Business Administration.

The alumni will describe their job responsibilities and then field questions. Dessert will be served in the lobby of the Simon Center after the event, giving students an opportunity to talk one-on-one with them.

Confirmed speakers include Robert Little ’80, Saad Rasool ’02, and Shana Hennigan ’01, Merrill Lynch; Matt Fahey ’85, Megan Rutt, and Elena Sidelnikova ’01, J.P. Morgan Securities; Harsh Agrawal ’01, Morgan Stanley; Youli Petkov ’01, CommonFund (leverage finance); Adam Scheer ’02, Goldman Sachs (trading); and Ousmane Diagne ’98, Charles Schwab (trading).

The roundtable is sponsored by the student chapter of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the national honor society for men and women studying economics, and organized in conjunction with Career Services.

“The purpose is to allow students to become acquainted with the profession,” says Sheila Handy, assistant professor of economics and business and adviser for Lafayette’s chapter of ODE. “The event is open to the entire campus.”

More than 60 students attended last year’s roundtable.
