Alpha Gamma Delta sorority will hold its annual Spring Eggstravaganza for Easton children 12:30-3:30 p.m. tomorrow in the Marlo Room of Farinon College Center.

The event, which is open to the public, will feature an egg hunt, beanbag toss, face painting, relay races, and many other activities. A $2 donation requested for each child will benefit the Alpha Gamma Delta Fund, which supports the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.

Registration will be held 12:30-1 p.m. in the Marlo Room. All activities will follow, including a 2 p.m. egg hunt.

“It is great to have the kids on campus,” says AGD philanthropy chair Elisabeth Edwards, a junior mathematics major from Belle Mead, N.J. “Since all the money we raise goes to the AGD Foundation, we are able to help people and have fun while doing it.”

AGD has sponsored a number of philanthropic activities this year, including Trick-or-Treat on the Hill and a St. Patrick’s Day Peppermint Patty sale. Sisters also participated in the Delta Gamma sorority’s annual Anchor Splash fundraiser, which features a variety of water activities. Alpha Gamma Delta has raised more than $500 for charity this year.
