A roofing worker at the Acopian Engineering Center construction site fell two to three stories from scaffolding shortly before 8 a.m. this morning, suffering an ankle injury and a forehead laceration.

The Easton Emergency Squad and a few fire department trucks responded to a 911 call made from a cell phone, arriving shortly after 8 a.m. The morning drizzle on the scaffolding’s metal surface likely caused the fall, according to the squad and Lafayette’s Office of Public Safety.

The injured worker, employed at Alan Kunsman Roofing & Siding of Freemansburg Avenue in Easton, was fully conscious when taken to Easton Hospital.
