Electric power was restored this morning following a campus-wide outage that began at 1:55 a.m. The problem occurred off campus in the wake of Hurricane Isabel. Power was restored at about 10:15 a.m.

Classes are being held today at the discretion of the professors.

Many administrative offices are closed. The outage was expected to last several hours longer than it did. Before the workday began administrative personnel were notified that non-essential personnel would not be required to report to work.
