Lee Goldfarb- President

-The Dinner with the Trustees was very successful.

-The Lafayette Leadership Workshop will take place on Sunday, Nov. 2nd from 1-5 pm.

-The SG will have a dinner with the deans at Dean Krivoski’s on Wednesday, Nov. 5th from 6-8 pm.

-The Blood Drive is being held this week.

-Elections for the new SG Representatives will be the week of the 10th. There will transition meetings on Nov. 13th at 7 pm, Nov. 19th, and Dec. 3rd.

-The official transition meeting at the Chateau will be on Saturday, Dec. 6th from 10:30 am-2 pm.

-On Monday, Nov. 17th, SG will sponsor a Brown Bag lunch with a Sexual Assault Speaker.

-Discussed ideas for the 3rd Street renovation.

-The Pep Rally will be on Friday, Nov. 21st from 5:45-7 pm (doors open at 5:15) in the Kamine Gym. Buses will be going to the Lafayette Men’s Hockey game at 7:45.

-Spirit Week will be from Nov. 17th to 21st; the Spirit Week committee is working on a schedule of activities.

-Anime Club requested approval of club.

-Marooned requested an emergency allocation for publishing costs.

-LEAP requested an emergency allocation for transportation funding for conference.

Liz Koskinen- Vice President

-Received minutes from Associate Representatives with updates and progress in several committees.

-Received a response from Dean Hutchinson about Administrative Withdrawal Policy. He explained further what it involves. SG discussed the possible new policy and came up with some suggestions.

-Spoke with Wood Dining Services about food for Pep Rally. We discussed prices and food options.

-Attended the Trustee dinner last Thursday.

-Allocated $360 to LEAP.

-Attending Come-Unity week planning committee meeting this week.

Dave Watts- Elections Chair

-Election forms for new SG candidates are being sent out on Monday. The applications, signatures, and essays will be due on Monday, Nov. 10th at noon. There will also be an information session on Thursday, Nov. 6th at 7 pm for interested candidates.

-Elections for the new SG Representatives will be on Monday, Nov. 10th from 6-7 pm in Farinon, Tuesday, Nov. 11th from 12-1 pm in Marquis and 6-7 in Farinon, and Wednesday, Nov. 12th from 12-1 in Farinon.

Andrew Kasman- Student Life

-Working on the Pep Rally with the committee.

Colby Block- Student Life

-Met with Amy Ahart about Spirit Week.

-Formed a Spirit Week Committee that meets weekly.

-Started FCC; already sent out a gift to the freshman class. It was very successful.

-Helped set up at the Blood Drive.

Dan LaTerra- Greek Liaison

-Starting plans to begin the Holiday Lights Contest.

-Safe Rides are running smoothly.

-Will attend the IFC meeting next week.

Sarah Hazel- Community Affairs

-SG set up and is helping take down the Blood Drive.

-Working with Cindy Adams to bring in a speaker about sexual assault or healthy relationships.

-Ordering the Pep Rally t-shirts this week.

Sue Anamier- Multicultural Affairs

-Attended the meeting for the Come-Unity week planning committee on Oct. 23rd. Come-Unity week will be from Nov. 17th-21st. Attending the next meeting this week and will give an update on the events soon.

-Attended the Kwanzaa Celebration 2003 committee meeting on Oct. 24th. The Kwanzaa Celebration will be on Thursday, Dec. 4th from 6-8pm. Attendance is encouraged; more details to follow.

-Attended the AIDS Symposium 2004 meeting. The dates are March 6,7,12, and 13. More information to follow.

-There will be a LINC meeting Nov. 5th from 12-1 pm.

-On Nov. 4th the French Club will be showing a film at 7 pm in Keefe Commons. On Nov. 6th there will be a presentation by students from francophone countries in the Language Lab in Pardee at 12 pm. Students will read their own French work on Nov. 10th at 12 pm (room TBA). On Nov. 11th there will be a French Fashion show in the Farinon Snack Bar from 9-10:30 pm. French desserts will be served.

Ryan Lawlis- Academic Affairs

-Corresponded with the prospective Ukrainian Club.

-Anime Club Constitution was submitted (approval pending changes).
