Shannon Gary, assistant director of Career Services, will give talks today (Monday) and Tuesday about internship opportunities for minorities and international students.
Today’s event will take place 4 p.m. in Marlo Room West, Farinon College Center. Gary will discuss several internship programs that serve minorities, including Sponsors for Educational Opportunity. Since its inception in 1980, SEO’s Career Program has placed over 3,200 undergraduate students of color in internships, leading to opportunities in careers in the most competitive industries worldwide. SEO internships are available in the fields of accounting, asset management, corporate law, information technology, investment banking, management consulting, media, and philanthropy.
Another program will cover SEO’s opportunities for international students noon tomorrow in Marlo Room West.“SEO is the only program that will consider international students,” notes Gary. For more information, contact Gary at x5116 or garys.
