Students Get Inside View of Future Careers During Externships

A first-hand look at careers was made possible for 195 students thanks to 126 alumni, parents, and friends, who volunteered to host one or more students at their worksite during January interim 2004. The externships allow students to observe the day-to-day duties of possible future professions. Students continually rate the experience highly, saying it is extremely beneficial.
