Employers continue to place emphasis on real-world experience as an important complement to classroom learning. Students can best achieve this by engaging in a summer internship—a one- to three-month work experience in their field of interest. Alumni can help increase the number of opportunities by establishing internships at their workplace or by informing Career Services of existing internships.
