Doug Robertson of Flowserve Corp. will talk about “Experiences of a Young Engineer in the Pump Industry” noon today in Acopian Engineering Center room 200.
The free event is sponsored by the student chapter of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Free pizza will be provided.
ASME also is sponsoring an afternoon field trip to tour Connectiv Corp. in Bethlehem Thursday afternoon, April 15.
Robertson will give a presentation earlier this week on “Demonstrations of Cavitation Life Extension for Suction- Stage Impellers in High Energy Pumps” at the 21st International Pump Users Symposium and Short Courses in Baltimore, Md.
