The Office of Financial Aid announces the following scholarships:

Accountemps and the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts
Scholarship opportunities are available to outstanding AICPA student affiliate members specializing in accounting, finance or information systems. There are scholarships for students who are applying to or accepted into graduate programs in accounting. Visit the AICPA web site or call (650) 234-6283.

Construction Management Association of America Scholarship Program
Up to $2,500 is available for an undergraduate in a field supporting and related to construction management. Application information is available in the Office of Financial Aid, 107 Markle Hall, or by contacting Richard Bernardini at rickbernardini@hillintl.com. The application deadline is March 21.

American Chemical Society Scholars Program
Approximately 100 scholarships will be awarded to students interested in four-year degrees in the chemical sciences. The scholarship is designed to encourage African-American, Hispanic, and Native American students to pursue undergraduate degrees in the chemical sciences. Applications are available in the Office of Financial Aid or at the ACS Scholars web site. The application deadline is March 1.

Lighthouse International 2005 Scholarship Awards for Students Who are Blind or Partially Sighted
These are $5,000 awards to reward excellence, recognize accomplishments, and help students who are blind or partially sighted achieve their goals. The deadline is March 31, and applications are available in the Office of Financial Aid or by contacting Kelly Boyle at (212) 821-9428 or via e-mail kboyle@lighthouse.org.

National Institutes of Health (NIH) Undergraduate Scholarship Program for Individuals from Disadvantaged Backgrounds
Scholarships of up to $20,000 a year provide paid research training at the NIH during the summer and after graduation for students who are committed to pursuing careers in biomedical, behavioral, and social science health-related research. The application deadline is February 28. More information as well as printable application forms and an on-line application are available at the UGSP web site. Society of Fire Protection Engineers
Scholarship opportunities are available to students from the Delaware Valley who show an interest in the fire protection industry. Additional information and application are available at the SFPE Philadelphia-Delaware Chapter web site.
