“Lafayette encouraged me to think, gave me the space for exploration, and challenged me to be the best that I could be,” says Anne Matlack ’85, president of Thrive LLC, a Riverton, N.J.-based executive “life coaching” business. Matlack, a member of Lafayette’s Annual Fund committee, says she often draws on her experience at the College in her coaching work. “It’s really about thinking with your heart and your head. What was reinforced for me at Lafayette is that you can be successful and be a good citizen at the same time. That’s what most of my clients are endeavoring to do.”
