Cara Belardi ’02 never planned on a publishing career, but when the opportunity to work as an advertising assistant at Sports Illustrated presented itself, she was ready. “A strong liberal arts background prepares you for anything,” she says. Belardi, now a project manager at Runner’s World in New York City, also serves as a class manager for the Lafayette Annual Fund. She says her years at Lafayette left her with a sound work ethic, the ability to multitask, and the desire to give back to her alma mater. “I always wanted to do my best because the professors were just so engaged in everything they taught.”
