“The alumni network is a fantastic benefit to students,”
says Kevin Angelis ’01, an associate with American Capital, Bethesda, Md., who volunteers as a class agent. An externship with Michael H. Moskow ’59, CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, and internship with Frederick S. Benson III ’59, then at Weyerhauser, Washington, D.C., helped him land his first job at Merrill Lynch. “Participating in the annual fund is a way to help shape Lafayette’s future. I greatly value my Lafayette experience, and I thought being a class agent would be a good way to start to give back and help shape future classes. Doing this is an honor.”
