“Lafayette professors have a relationship with students that lasts a lifetime,” says Perrin Wilson ’00, a Ph.D. candidate in developmental neurobiology at Rockefeller University in New York City. Wilson, who has hosted several Lafayette externs, says Lafayette’s close-knit atmosphere helped foster in her the desire to do what she can for current students. “Offering to host a student for an externship is my way of giving back to Lafayette.”
