John T. McCartney, professor and head of government and law, and Samuel A. Hay, visiting professor of government and law, will appear on the “Shades of Opinion” program that will air 7:30 p.m. Thursday on Philadelphia PBS television station WYBE. The half-hour show will be devoted entirely to a discussion of Lafayette’s conference entitled “Paul Robeson: His History and Development as an Intellectual,” which will take place April 7-9. McCartney is conference director and Hay is co-organizer.

The show is available for viewing on cable systems throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.

Also, an interview with WDIY Lehigh Valley Community Public Radio (88.1 FM) will air 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 30. McCartney and Hay will be interviewed by Jim DeSousa about the Robeson conference for “Lehigh Valley Discourse,” a half-hour local affairs show.

McCartney and Hay did a live, hour-long interview March 18 for “Truth Rising” on Philadelphia talk radio station WURD (900 AM).
