Cadence, Lafayette’s female a cappella group, is holding auditions for new singers 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday in the Marlo Room of FarinonCollegeCenter.
Students who want a shot at joining the group should prepare a minute or two of a pop song. Questions can be directed to English major Amanda Finkelstein ’06 (Syosset, N.Y.), president, at finkelsa or English and music double major Megan Conway ’06, musical director, at conwaym.
Cadence took third place this year at the Mid-Atlantic regional finals of the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella, hosted by CornellUniversity. The performance established Cadence as the best female a cappella group in the Mid-Atlantic region.
