John Colatch, director of religious life and College chaplain, sent this message today to the campus community:

A coin collection will be conducted by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at tomorrow’s football game vs. Richmond. Mardi Gras beads will not be sold at the game but will be on sale at future events and at the Block pARTy next Saturday, Sept. 17. Lunchtime sales of beads at Farinon Center and Marquis Dining Hall are scheduled to continue through next week with residents of Keefe Volunteer Floor and CHANCE Floor staffing the tables. Funds raised through these efforts will go to the American Red Cross and Salvation Army.

There will be a candlelight vigil Tuesday evening, Sept. 20. More information on the event will follow.
