The Marquis, the student literary magazine, is accepting submissions for its fall issue.

Poems, short stories, creative essays, photographs, and other two-dimensional art are eligible. Email submissions are preferred and should be sent to English major Jennifer Aranda ’07 (Paramus, N.J) at Entries must be in by Friday, Oct. 7. Name, class year, and contact information should be included.

The Marquis is advised by Lee Upton, professor of English and writer-in-residence. The group’s goals are “to foster poetry appreciation on campus by creating a positive literary environment; to provide an outlet for the presentation of student writers; to produce an innovative and creative magazine each semester that focuses on a combination of progress and tradition.”
