The Marquis, the student literary magazine, is accepting submissions for its fall issue.

Poems, short stories, creative essays, photographs, and other two-dimensional art are eligible. Email submissions are preferred and should be sent to English major Jennifer Aranda ’07 (Paramus, N.J) at arandaj@lafayette.edu. Entries must be in by Friday, Oct. 7. Name, class year, and contact information should be included.

The Marquis is advised by Lee Upton, professor of English and writer-in-residence. The group’s goals are “to foster poetry appreciation on campus by creating a positive literary environment; to provide an outlet for the presentation of student writers; to produce an innovative and creative magazine each semester that focuses on a combination of progress and tradition.”
