Students networked with 38 Lafayette alumni from various areas of finance Oct. 26. About 70 students of all majors and class years who had an interest in the field of finance attended the event at the Princeton Club in New York City.

Alumni offered advice and information on products and services that their national and global companies provide, including investment banking, insurance, financial services, securities trading and brokerage, financial transaction processing, private equity, equity and fixed income sales, and asset management.

Career Services received positive feedback from both students and alumni, according to Maureen Walz Boehmer, assistant director for special programs. She adds that many alumni expressed interest in participating again next year.
