Monetary donations are being accepted to assist the family of Darlene Frank, office assistant in the Office of Religious Life, and Krystal Frank ’06, whose home in Phillipsburg was destroyed by a fire Sunday.

“Darlene and her family, including daughter Krystal, a Lafayette senior, and sons Keith, 17, and Charles, 7, are safe, as is Darlene’s mother. Lafayette is assisting the family in securing housing. The American Red Cross is providing food and short-term shelter,” said John Colatch, College chaplain and director of religious life, today in a memo to the campus community.

Colatch said cash and checks are being accepted at the Office of Religious Life, 101 Hogg Hall. Checks should be payable to Lafayette College with a note in the memo field that the donation is to benefit the Frank Fire Fund.

Donations of furniture may be welcomed in the future, Colatch said.
