The Third Annual Charity Dodgeball Tournament will be held 7-11 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, in Kamine Gym. The money raised by this event will be donated to the Third Street Alliance for Women and Children in Easton.

The team entry fee is $25, and teams may consist of 6-10 people. Registration will be held Monday, Oct.16-Friday, Oct. 20 in the Farinon Atrium. Players must be Lafayette students, but the public is invited to come and watch the action.

Every member of the winning team will receive a free ticket to the Lafayette vs. Lehigh football game, 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, at Fisher Field at Fisher Stadium.

“This tournament has been very successful in the past,” says Lafayette Activities Forum special events and recreation co-chairs Suzanne Manning ’09 (Trumbull, Conn.), a psychology major, and Jess Ferrara ’08 (Freehold, N.J.), a neuroscience major. “We feel that it is important to create an event that gives back to the Easton community, and encourage students to attend and play.”

The Third Street Alliance is a nonprofit social services agency offering wellness and education programs for men, women, and children; childcare; shelter for homeless women and their children; and adult day services.
