An interview with Donald L. Miller, John Henry MacCracken Professor of History, will air 7:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, on The History Channel.

The half-hour program, “HistoryCENTER,” will feature host Dr. Steve Gillon interviewing Miller about his most recent book, Masters of the Air: America’s Bomber Boys Who Fought the Air War Against Nazi Germany.

The HistoryCENTER website says the program “provides an historical perspective on current cultural, political, and news-making issues and asks the provocative question: How is the present like the past?”

Masters of the Air, released Oct. 10 by Simon & Schuster, is Miller’s eighth published work and third WWII book. It examines the social and psychological effects of World War II on bomber crews of the American Eighth Air Force, German citizens, and the English people.

The book has received a great deal of media attention including a glowing review in the Nov. 8 edition of The New York Times.
