Students will have the chance to meet and network with alumni who have worked extensively abroad at the International Alumni Dinner Panel6 – 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 3 in the Faculty Dining Room in Marquis Hall.

The event is sponsored by Career Services and is open to all majors. Attendees will gain exposure to potential jobs and career paths, both domestic and around the globe, from knowledgeable and experienced alumni who are eager to help students.

A $10 refundable deposit is required for the dinner. Interested students must RSVP to Career Services, x5115, by Friday, March 30.

“It is our goal to connect students and alumni who have worked globally, offering their perspectives, guidance, and advice to current students,” says Alana Gallo, assistant director of Career Services. “We hope to be able to give students insights regarding the challenges ahead and the importance of networking and properly preparing for domestic or global employment and graduate school opportunities.”

Panelists include Edward Auble ’61, Managing Partner with Broker Resource Center in Paoli, Pa., who has worked in Greece, Jamaica, Aruba, Iran, and Saudi Arabia; William Kirby ’59, a retired diplomat who spent 45 years dealing with the Middle East, particularly the Arab-Israeli conflict; Jamie Hughes ’05, assistant director of Alumni Affairs, who played professional basketball in Northern Ireland; Ramona Bejan ’04, an associate in Quantitative Portfolio Strategies with Aberdeen Asset Management; Heron Mochney ’04, an environmental engineer with Malcom Pirnie; and Navdeep Kalsi ’01, formerly with Bank of America who will begin a position with Morgan Stanley in London shortly.
