Students, faculty, staff, and alumni will once again join together to help local community service organizations when the Landis Community Outreach Center holds the fifth annual Lafapalooza April 13-14.

This year, members of the campus community will have the opportunity to participate in 13 different service activities. The two-day series of projects allows those who cannot commit to a weekly volunteer schedule a chance to get involved with the community.

Following the hugely successful Lafapalooza events in the past, nine regional alumni chapters will volunteer in their communities during Lafapalooza. Other than Lafayette Alumni of the Lehigh Valley, this is the first year that alumni chapters are participating in the event. There will be service projects held through the chapters in Philadelphia, Delaware Valley and North Jersey Shore, Washington, D.C., South Jersey and Jersey Shore South, Greater Boston, and New York City. Visit the web site for more information on chapter opportunities.

For more information on local projects or to sign up, visit the Landis Center at 120 Farinon College Center or call x5553.
