Students are invited to celebrate the end of the semester at All College Day, noon Saturday, May 5 on March Field.

A long standing campus tradition, the event takes place the day after the last day of classes. Students can enjoy a day of barbeque, inflatables, and games.

“All College Day is a wonderful opportunity for students to have one last big event before finals and leaving to go home for the summer. It’s also a great social opportunity to spend time with friends, faculty, and administration,” says Lauren Ibbotson, assistant director of student life programs.

Those in attendance can relax to the sounds of three bands. Blue Sinatra, a funk/jazz band from Philadelphia, kicks off the celebration at noon. At 1:30 p.m., M-80, an 80’s cover band, takes the stage. Parker house and Theory, a Boston based rock/jam band, follows at 3 p.m.

Wristbands will be in campus mailboxes in early May and all students must wear their all college day wristband in order to be admitted on to March Field. LafayetteID is required and the event is free for students, $5 for guests.

All College Day is followed up by the annual Midnight Breakfast, 11 p.m.-1 a.m. Saturday, May 5-Sunday, May 6 in the upper level of FarinonCollegeCenter.

Participating students will have their breakfast served to them by members of the faculty, staff, and administration. A LafayetteID is required and breakfast is free for students, $3.50 for guests

“We want to give something back to the students in appreciation for all of the hard work they put in throughout the semester,” says Ibbotson. “We look forward to another great day, and look forward to seeing everyone at March Field and at Midnight Breakfast.”
