Donald Miller, John Henry MacCracken Professor of History, appeared on WHYY 91 FM’s ‘Radio Times with Marty Moss-Coane’ Thursday, Sept. 27.

Miller and fellow historian Thomas Childers, professor of history at University of Pennsylvania, discussed The War, a new documentary by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick. The seven-part series explores the history and horror of World War II from the perspective of men and women in four American towns.

Miller has published three books on WWII, the most recent being Masters of the Air: America’s Bomber Boys Who Fought the Air War Against Nazi Germany, which was released October 2006 by Simon & Schuster.

‘Radio Times’ is a weekday interview program dealing with issues of the Delaware Valley, as well as issues of national and global concern.
