Mouth-watering First Weekend festivities will benefit Easton’s Main Street Initiative

Chocolate and chili lovers will fall in love all over again at Easton’s upcoming First Weekend Feb. 2-3.

Saturday, Feb. 2 will feature the second annual Chocolate Lovers’ Soiree, 7 – 10 p.m. at the Bank Street Annex, 316 Northampton Street. Attendees will enjoy an evening of smooth jazz while indulging in decadent chocolate desserts, handmade truffles, ice cream and more, all created by the area’s premier chefs.

Tickets are $20 per person. Attendees who present a receipt dated for Feb. 2 from one of downtown Easton’s restaurants at the door will receive $5 off of the admission price or a $5 cash refund.

Tickets are available in advance at the Green Harvest Food Emporium in downtown Easton, The Cosmic Cup on College Hill, Lynn’s Floral Design in Nazareth, Wired Cafe & Gallery in downtown Bethlehem, and the Easton Main Street Office at 158-B Northampton Street. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.

Easton’s 30th annual Chili Cook-Off will take place on Sunday, Feb. 3, from noon – 4 p.m. at Pearly Baker’s Ale House, 11 Centre Square. Come watch as 20 plus restaurants compete for the title. Admission is $5.
