Alumni experts will share insights into finance, graduate school, and other topics March 1

Young alumni, sophomores, juniors, and seniors are invited to the second annual Orientation to Life: Secrets to Survival & Success, an interactive informational program focused on life after college, Saturday, March 1.

Presented by the Alumni Association and its Young Alumni Committee, the event will start with lunch at noon and feature sessions highlighting finance and graduate school and a panel featuring committee members. All presenters are Lafayette alumni and experts in their fields. The event will conclude with a networking opportunity.

Among others, speakers will include Tom Kleinert ’86, associate director of graduate admissions of the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development at NYU, and Joe Ort ’06, financial associate, and Victor Goldman ’96, senior vice president, both with the wealth-management firm Lenox Advisors Inc., Stamford, Conn.

“Orientation to Life is a one-stop shop for what you need to know for life after college and in the working world,” says Simmone Chaddan ’04, chair of the Young Alumni Committee. “With expert advice and interactive sessions, OTL is tailored to meet the needs of young alumni as well as juniors and seniors.”
