Local and student artists can draw, paint, sculpt, and create

Local and student artists are invited to draw, paint, sculpt, and create during the 10-hour figure study marathon being held from noon – 10 p.m. March 29 in the Williams Visual Arts Building.

In celebration of the art of life modeling, 10 exceptional models from the tri-state area will pose for and inspire artists throughout the day. Artists will be able to network and enjoy a high-energy and inspiring atmosphere.

Tables, easels, and drawing horses are available, as are basic drawing supplies. The model fee for the day is $25/artist. Artists must register and pay in advance by contacting Patricia Sonne at (610) 216-5707 or email. Students may attend at no charge, but registration is required to reserve a space.

The program is co-sponsored by the art department and Community-Based Teaching Program. Light refreshments will be provided throughout the day. Please bring a bag lunch or a dish or beverage to share.

For more information about activities at the Williams Visual Arts Building and the Community Based Teaching Program, contact Jim Toia, director, at (610) 330-5577 or email.
