Amanda Whitbred ’11 (Doylestown, Pa.), an English and philosophy double major, will speak on WDIY’s Valley View program tonight from 6:30-7 p.m. She is going to be part of a panel discussion on generational views on feminism and the Women’s Movement in modern America. WDIY is the local National Public Radio station at 88.1 F.M.

The host of the program, Cherry Woodburn, founder of Borderless Thinking, was inspired to pursue the topic by points brought up in Gloria Steinem’s Lives of Liberty lecture, “The Longest Revolution: Social Movements and Women’s Rights,” held March 4 at Lafayette.
