During winter break, 74 students shadowed alumni and parents at ESPN, ABC News World News, The New York Times, CNN Headline News, and many others

During January’s interim session, 74 students participated in externships at 39 business firms, government agencies, and other organizations in nearby New York City.

Lafayette alumni and parents hosted the students at their workplaces for two to five days, giving them an opportunity to observe work practices, learn about careers they may consider entering after college, develop professional networking contacts, and build their resumes.

The externships were arranged by Career Services. Companies and organizations included Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, Merrill Lynch, Pfizer, IBM, ESPN, Parade Magazine, ABC News World News, The New York Times, and CNN Headline News, and many others.

  • Our Proximity Advantage: New York City internships, externships, and career networking are part of the unique Lafayette student experience
