The College’s second student-run, live election-night television broadcast will be carried from 9-11 p.m. Nov. 4 on channel 66 on the campus cable system. It will be viewed by audiences worldwide via the internet and carried live in the Lehigh Valley (on RCN-4) and in the Delaware Valley (RCN-8).
Hosted by the Policy Studies program, the Lafayette Electoral College will originate from sets in Farinon College Center. Students have researched the issues and candidates, written scripts, prepared storyboards, and created pre-recorded segments. Anchors Jeff Katz ’10, Stephanie Kramer ’09, and Jayne Miller ’10 will appear live with updated returns, interviews, analyses, and commentaries. A pre-event party featuring food, music, and dancing also will take place in Farinon.
