Awake at the Wheel encourages creative thinking

Awake at the Wheel, a book by business consultant Mitch Ditkoff ’69, has received a Silver Medal within the Business Fable category from the Axiom Business Books Awards.

Released in 2008 by Morgan James Publishing, Awake of the Wheel: Getting Your Great Ideas Rolling (in an Uphill World) features a fable about the process a Neanderthal character—the “original everyman,” Ditkoff calls him—went through to conceptualize the wheel and manifest it. The second part of the book offers 35 techniques for thinking creatively.

Ditkoff also is the author of Banking on Innovation and Free the Genie. He is cofounder and president of Idea Champions.
