David Kafafian '11 finished the spring semester with a team high 3.92 GPA.

The men’s golf team has been honored by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) for being one of the country’s outstanding academic golf programs in Division I. Lafayette finished with a 3.37 overall grade-point average (GPA).

The reigning Patriot League Champions placed eight student-athletes on the Patriot League Golf Academic Honor Roll, led by David Kafafian ’13.  Kafafian, an economics major, completed his spring semester with a 3.92 GPA.  Patriot League Golfer of the Year, Rob Robertson ’12, posted a 3.53 GPA as an economics major.

Other students were: Erik Adolfsson ’11, an electrical and computer engineering major, 3.67; Andrew Carlins ’11, an economics major, 3.67; Frank Dalincandro ’12, an economics major, 3.60; Chris Resnik ’13, a chemistry major, 3.32; Carter Rufe ’12, a Spanish major, 3.67; and Cody Sumpter ’11, an economics major, 3.66.

The GCAA recognizes those outstanding golf programs that compile a team grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 and higher or the equivalent.
