Hundreds of students, faculty, and staff came out to show their support for the Lafayette community during the Earth Jam(nesty): Unity in Our Community event last week on the Quad.

The campus-wide party, which also kicked-off Earth Week, included live music and dance performances, free food, family activities, and displays by many campus organizations.

Organizations that sponsored the event included Amnesty International, Lafayette Environmental Awareness and Protection, Questioning Established Sexual Taboos, Student Movement Against Cancer, Association of Black Collegians, Hispanic Society of Lafayette, Hillel, Lafayette Intercultural Networking Council, International Students Association, Association of Lafayette Feminists, Precision Step Team, Student Government, Lafayette Christian Fellowship, The Chorduroys, Brothers of Lafayette, the Marquis literary magazine, and numerous Greek organizations, as well as the Office of the President and the offices of Intercultural Development, Student Life Programs, and Religious Life.
