Hundreds of students came out to test the waters of the workforce during the annual Career Fair hosted by Career Services in the Bergethon Room of Marquis Hall.

More than 40 employers were in attendance, including Air Products & Chemicals, American Cancer Society, B. Braun, Bloomberg, Bosch Rexroth, Clark Construction, Exxon Mobil, Geisinger Medical Center, Johnson & Johnson, Lehigh Valley Health Network, Lutron, M&T Bank, Muscular Dystrophy Association, New York Stock Exchange, Pepco Holdings, Target, Turner Construction, Teach for America, and the U.S. Marines.

Recruiters from these firms, many of whom are alumni, talk with students about internship and job opportunities in their fields. The fair kicks off the year for Career Services’ on-campus recruiting program. Many of the employers will return in October for student interviews stemming from contacts made at the fair and through other Career Services recruiting events.

Career Services provides numerous programs focusing on student employment and graduate study. These include professional advising, career search tools, internships and externships, workshops, mock interviews, and resume- and cover letter-writing services.
