The celebration marked the 50th anniversary of the McKelvy Scholars Program and the 125th anniversary of McKelvy House. Housing 21 students each year from diverse majors and backgrounds, the program fosters intellectual discourse, personal growth, and community engagement. Current and former McKelvy Scholars took part in intellectual discussions, which are the hallmark of the program, as well as watched presentations on the history of the house and proposed renovations to the building and grounds.
