Today, Lafayette hosted the first of several events introducing Alison Byerly to the campus community as the 17th president of the College. After brief comments by President Daniel H. Weiss; Edward W. Ahart ’69, chair of the Board of Trustees; and Trustee Alan Griffith ’64, chair of the Presidential Search Committee, Byerly made her first address as president-elect. Other opportunities to meet the new president will be held Wednesday, Jan. 30, for students, and Thursday, Jan. 31, for faculty and staff.
