The men’s and women’s basketball and lacrosse teams all scored big victories Saturday.

A pull-up jumper by Tony Johnson ’13 with 4.5 seconds left propelled the men’s basketball team to a 63-62 victory over Bucknell at Kirby Sports Center. An off-balance runner at the buzzer by Alicia Manning ’13 erased a 16-point halftime deficit and set the stage for the women’s basketball team’s 66-61 dramatic overtime win at Bucknell. The men’s lacrosse team overcame a five-goal halftime deficit against Georgtown to earn a 11-10 overtime win and is now receiving votes in the Nike/Inside Lacrosse Media Poll and the USILA Coaches Poll. The women’s lacrosse team opened the season with a home win over Marist, 12-8, at Fisher Stadium.
