In 2012, Lafayette took home its second consecutive Patriot League title and earned an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament, a first from a Patriot League institution. She was a First Team All-Patriot League selection all four years on College Hill and was named the Patriot League Tournament MVP as she lifted a penalty stroke into the back of the net in overtime of the championship game against American. She graduated with an A.B. as a psychology major.

The Leopards will open the 2013 season Sept. 1 at home against Big Ten foe Iowa.

Another in a series of awards recognizing a very special group of Lafayette student athletes. Their national recognition, the trophies, and the rings I am sure are appreciated but the memories they will have of this very special experience they will take with them forever. It is a year I will remember!! I look forward to even more from this program in the future. For Deanna and our graduated seniors….well done!!!
