What do you enjoy about your major?

As a double major, I enjoy the diversity of my classes. Each semester, I am learning something completely different from the last. It keeps my learning juices flowing.

What is your favorite class (or professor) and why?

Although Microeconomics was not one of my favorite classes, Professor David Stifel found a way to keep it interesting. He has been one of the most influential professors I have had thus far on campus. Professor Stifel is also our team’s academic adviser. He has been so helpful and welcoming to our team!

What is your passion, and how has Lafayette enabled you to pursue it?

I’ve always been passionate about working with kids. As a psychology major, a lot of my courses are about child development. On the other hand, I’ve taken great interest in my financial accounting class this semester. Even though these topics sometimes are not very relatable, Lafayette has enabled me to combine my two passions.

Do you have any post-graduation plans?

I’m pretty torn between career paths. Luckily, Lafayette has a strong career services program. Talking with my career services counselor has really helped in the exploration for externships and internships. I’ve really enjoyed the work experiences career services has provided me and look forward to finding a plan I’m passionate about.

With Patriot League play underway, what is the focus of the team right now?

Keeping the main thing the main thing. Attending a school like Lafayette, with such a vigorous academic schedule, distractions are easy to come by. However, going out to Metzgar for practice each day, we get off campus for a few hours and can really focus on what we love to do. We are taking each day as it comes.

If you could play any opponent in the country, who would it be and why?

I think it would be awesome to play the Women’s National Team. Every member on our team would probably hit a new heart rate max and surpass a 400-training load. But to play against the top women players in the country would definitely be memorable.

You made the switch this year to #16. Any particular reason why?

I’ve been 16 pretty much my entire life. Since Bridget Becker ’13 was ahead of me, I had to wait my turn. When she graduated there was no question to switch back. I’m just a little superstitious…

What is your favorite spot on campus (or in Easton) and why?
The Quad – especially on a sunny day. It’s a nice place to relax and catch up with friends with such a picturesque background everywhere you turn.
