Lafayette will close out the 2013 football season with the 149th game in college football’s most-played rivalry. The Leopards will take on Lehigh 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at Goodman Stadium.

Lafayette-Lehigh TelecastFor those who can’t make the game in person, Lafayette and Lehigh alumni will be hosting more than 60 telecast parties in 34 states and the United Kingdom.

The Lafayette Sports Network telecast of the game can be seen on MASN2 (DirecTV 641, Dish Network 433), RCN-TV (Boston, New York, City, Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley, and Washington, D.C.), and WBPH-60, and will be streamed live on

This is also the fourth year of the Lafayette-Lehigh Giving Challenge, a spirited competition to engage alumni and students by seeing which school can rally the greatest number of donors. The challenge kicks off Nov. 13 and goes through halftime of the game.

The College also announced that Lafayette will host the 150th meeting in the series at Yankee Stadium Nov. 22, 2014. Tickets for the 150th game go on sale Nov. 18.

The game at Yankee Stadium will be the first Lafayette-Lehigh meeting at a neutral site since Nov. 25, 1891, when the teams played at West Side Park in Wilkes Barre, Pa. Begun in 1884, Lafayette-Lehigh is not only the nation’s most-played rivalry. It has been played every year since 1897 without interruption, reaching 117 consecutive years in 2013, the longest streak of consecutive years for any rivalry in college football. The Leopards lead the series 76-67-5.
