From the College’s seven Division I fall sports teams, 92 students were named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for the honor roll, student athletes need to record at least a 3.20 grade point average during the semester.

The men’s and women’s cross country teams combined for 12 honor roll students. Biology major Elizabeth Troisi ’14 (Londonberry, N.H.) led the women with a 4.0 GPA and physics major Thomas Day ’16 (Haddam, Conn.) earned a 3.93 GPA to lead the men.

Twelve members of the field hockey team have been named to the honor roll. Katelyn Arnold ’17 (Cooopersburg, Pa.) and Aliza Furneaux ’17 (Factoryville, Pa.) led the Leopards with 4.0 GPAs.

The 2013 Patriot League Championship football team had 23 members earn a place on the honor roll. Mark Ross ’14 (Aliquippa, Pa.), the 2013 Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year and an economics major, was one of just six Patriot League athletes to earn a perfect 4.0 GPA during the fall semester. This is his third consecutive year on the honor roll. Ross and biology major Brad Bormann ’14 (Flemington, N.J.) also earned Capital One Academic All-America honors for the 2013 football season. This is Bormann’s fourth year on the honor roll with a 3.93 GPA.

The men’s soccer team had 11 students named to the honor roll. Economics major Julian Plummer ’15 (Kendall Park, N.J.) and Dante Piccolo ’17 (Sewickley, Pa.) led the Leopards in the classroom by each earning a 3.93 GPA, while Academic All-Patriot League Team selection and mechanical engineering major Ryan Dodds ’15 (West Chester, Pa.) posted a 3.88 GPA. Biology major Erik Cannon ’14 (Dallas, Pa.) and mechanical engineering major Nathan McDonald ’14 (Bay Village, Ohio) made the list of seven men’s soccer players named to the honor roll in each of their four years.

A league-leading 22 members of the women’s soccer team earned a place on the honor roll. Kaelin King ’17 (La Canada Flintridge, Calif.) led the team with a 3.93 GPA.

The volleyball squad had 12 players named to the honor roll. Economics major Karissa Ciliento ’14 (Mahwah, N.J.) led the Leopards with a 3.68 GPA.
