President Alison Byerly will give the keynote address, “The Power of Community: Lafayette Women Supporting Each Other in Life and Work,” at the biennial Council of Lafayette Women conference April 5.

During lunch, Anne Alexander, senior vice president and editorial director of Prevention, will give health tips, including insights from her New York Times best seller, The Sugar Smart Diet.

Alumni, students, parents, faculty, and administrators are all invited to the daylong event. Already, several mother-daughter pairs have signed up.

Choose from a range of short sessions with a focus on collaboration, community, and connecting. Faculty, alumnae, and guest speakers share their wisdom with time for attendees to respond and discuss as a group.

  • discussion of the best seller Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead, led by Sandy Kazinski ’85

Events will be held in Marquis Hall and Kirby Hall of Civil Rights.

The conference fee of $50 includes all sessions, activities, supplies, and meals. Registration deadline is March 24.
